The Guaranty Agreement describes the obligation owed, distinguishes between a continuing or specific guaranty, contains the names of all of the parties, the date the guaranty agreement is entered into, which state's laws apply, the location the agreement is signed, and whether anattorney's fees clause is included.

In this Guaranty Agreement, Sam Poorhouse took a loan from Larry Loanshark, evidenced by a promissory note dated January 10, 1997. To induce Larry Loanshark into making the loan, Larry required Richie Rich to guaranty the loan in the event Sam Poorhouse failed to pay back the amount owed.
